My name is Marco Fogato, but my italian childhood friends have always called me “Fo’”. I am an industrial chemist with a master in Business Administration. I came to United States on the 25th of December 2008 and I immediately felt blessed, since I had the chance to experience a double Christmas: one in Italy and one in the USA. I am married to the woman of my dreams: Teresa, lucky me!! She is just incredible. She is smart and funny, sometime a bit picking, but, you know, you can’t have everything from the life… just joking... The main reasons why I left Italy, was to join my wife and together realize here, in the new world, our life-dreams. I thought that the best way to start would have been to complete in USA my business studies, and for this reason I spent the first six months of 2009 in Miami, at FIU, where I left some very good friends. This first period in US has been quite tough...and I stopped dreaming and started feeling instead as in a nightmare, but as much as I struggling I was hoping and looking for a change…and one day, something happened, and everything changed. Do you want to know what? During a Saturday morning event organized by the Saint Thomas More Church, here in Chapel Hill I have heard about something quite odd: the Healthy Chocolate. A gentleman with a white beard and a funny pink hat explained to a small group of people about this new product that seemed to be ‘miraculous’… That gentleman is Peter Henry. Since I am as skeptical as curious, it took me a while before realizing that Peter was not just one of the several salesmen, and that the healthy chocolate was not just one of the several promotional products. After a couple of months I have signed and here I am. The ‘power’ of the healthy chocolate overwhelmed my reluctance and here is my simple testimony. Since I have been in US I started to have some gum diseases – that was might be due to the radical changes in my diet. After starting to regularly consume the ‘Nuggets’ it has taken less than two weeks before starting to see a great improvement and now I am confident I am not going back. Furthermore… let’s talk about my humor: my wife just couldn’t believe, I have completely changed my attitude with people…this ‘odd’ or healthy chocolate...whatever...made me just happy from the beginning! In this adventure I have been always supported by Teresa. She is an MD specializing in endocrinology and together we have studied in detail the benefits of dark chocolate: it is just unbelievable as a small piece can be so important for a better life for all of us. My mission is to bring this incredible experience in my country and with the support of Peter & Susan and Tom & Peggy I am sure we can make it!! Have a nice healthy chocolate!! Ciao Marco
